This wonderful bar is officially closed. This was one of the best local places in North Beach District to talk with locals and drink some crazy selections of tap beers. I am very sad about it and I will miss it a lot! Their service was amazing! Bartender was very chatty and fun to chat with!

This is one of those small hidden spots you don't really hear about and kind of stumble upon one day when wandering North Beach. This has become our favourite bar in the area. Great dark creepy vibe, weird strange music (usually punk but can vary all over the place while still being obscure), a whole menu of craft beers (some familiar, some absolutely unheard of), and a friendly and knowledgeable staff, this is our place to chill for anywhere between 1 and 3 drinks easily. It's going through a renovation and change, so the name will likely be different, as will the drink menu, plus it'll be offering food/snacks with the focus on being gluten free (for the drinks as well) so check it out now while it's still Church Key and return for when it's switched over!

Super cool hidden beer spot in North Beach! Artsy/goth/hipster vibe. Service is fast and friendly and you can sit downstairs at the bar or upstairs at one of the tables. The lemon meringue beer I had was sooo delicious!

Solid beer bar in the heart of North Beach. No wine or cocktails, but a good selection of Belgians and sours. A few IPAs and other misc beers but less so. It looks tiny from the outside, but there's an upstairs and outdoor seating so it's larger than you'd think. Prices were reasonable compared to the rest of SF. Had a great time here sitting outside in a 4 person group.
